From the Archive: Esprit Sunglasses

There isn’t much documentation on vintage Esprit sunglasses.  They were produced by the Carrera-Optyl group, so they share the same great quality as the Safira, Playboy, and Dior frames of the period, but lack many of the flashy design features that elevated the Porche Design, Boeing, and Dunhill lines to near-mythical status.  Still, we find a number of playful elements such as contrasting nosepads, exposed screws, and adventurous prints.  The sunglasses pictured here are all available in the Online Shop and in our retail location in Chicago.  Drop by our BLACK METAL sale this Friday to try them on in person!
